One Variation Down . . .
Well it looks like the author of one variation of the Blaster Worm has been caught. Not much in the way of details as to who it is, other than an 18 year old. But the Blaster Worm has infected and wreaked havoc on many computer systems.

Back to School
Well it's back to school. This fun place that's called UGA. (NOTE: the extreme use of sarcasm). Between cancelled classes, changes in lab schedules, and the usual jargon that occurs, I think I've got a schedule in place. I don't like the schedule (i.e. lab on Friday afternoons from 3:30 - 5:00) but it's better than having to add on another semester. The four I have left is quite enough.

Road Trip of Madness?
Well, I'm about ready to leave on a trip with two co-workers. We leave tomorrow morning for Lubbock, Texas and arrive back in Athens Saturday. A really quick trip. But at the same time, a very long trip. It's about 1200 miles one way, about 19 hours.
I'll take a camera and maybe some pics. And I'll post an update later.

Mac: Think Differently
A Mac user explains what's wrong with Macs.
![]() | NEW TOY I just bought a 15GB iPod. It is SLICK. BUT, I'm just having trouble getting the firewire (IEEE 1394) card to work. I think it's a bad card because I tried three different computers with the same results. The onboard chip gets "video card" hot. And I don't think IEEE 1394 cards get that hot. |
